1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Get Seen LLC(“GET SEEN,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a South Carolina limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at getseenco.com(the “Site”) and related services (the “Services”).

2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact info — name, email, phone, company, website URL (from the contact form, audit sign-up, or report unlock flow)
  • Payment info — processed directly by Stripe or Lemon Squeezy; we do not store your card number. We receive metadata (amount, product, email, country, zip)
  • Messages and form submissions — contents of contact forms, chat messages, and support emails
  • URLs submitted for audit — the domain or URL you enter for AI visibility analysis

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Log data — IP address, user agent, referrer, pages viewed, timestamps (used for rate-limiting, security, and basic analytics)
  • Cookies — we use essential cookies for authentication (admin panel) and functional cookies to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers by default

2.3 Information from third parties

  • When we audit a third-party site or generate a “Rebuild” preview, we retrieve publicly available information from the target site and from AI platforms' public APIs. We do not collect private, authenticated, or paywalled information
  • If you opt-in on LinkedIn or a similar platform, we may receive your name, title, company, and email through our enrichment tools (Apollo, LinkedIn)

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services
  • Send transactional emails (audit results, reports, receipts, product updates)
  • Send marketing emails where permitted by law, with a clear unsubscribe in every message
  • Respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and diagnose issues
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, detect fraud and abuse, and protect the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, litigation hold)
  • With your consent, personalize content and offers

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal Bases (for users in the EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract with you, (b) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, (c) your consent where required (e.g., marketing emails), and (d) compliance with a legal obligation.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors who help us operate the Services, including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI model provider), Resend (transactional email), Stripe and Lemon Squeezy (payments), Microlink (screenshots), and similar providers. Each is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations
  • Legal obligations — to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Get Seen LLC, our users, or others
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case the acquirer will be bound by this Privacy Policy or provide equivalent protections
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection

6. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Audit reports and generated content are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Email records are retained per CAN-SPAM requirements. You may request deletion at any time by emailing legal@getseenco.com.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request we correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request we delete your personal information
  • Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your data
  • Opt-out of marketing — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time
  • California residents — under the CCPA/CPRA, you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share as those terms are defined)
  • EU/UK residents — you have GDPR/UK GDPR rights including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Session cookie for admin authentication (HMAC-signed, 12-hour TTL)
  • Functional cookies that remember your preferences (optional, set only if you interact with preference controls)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics or remarketing tags in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, present a cookie consent banner.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS-only traffic, HMAC-signed authentication, rate-limiting, access controls, and encrypted storage via our infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Get Seen LLC is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact legal@getseenco.com and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through our own Services.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Site or by email.
